  1. Yezidis have similarities with kurds because of centuries of persecution, kurdification and islamization. So the link between Yezidis and kurs are those fromer yezidis who had to convert and become kurds. After on they mixed with muslim kurds. That is the reason why there's a link. Otherwise, Yezidis are not kurds! They just speak the same language.
