There's no definite claim that this clade split occurred in Europe, though that is where these are being found - but even if they did, it isn't claiming to challenge the fact that all modern humans descend from later Homo species in Africa, and our own species evolved there.

Rather the article just further investigates specimens which give more insight into our last ancestors to split from Panina, the subtribe that includes chimpanzees and bonobos.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13966171531771947673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082727841026025895.post-90047002343761677182017-05-26T22:01:54.933-07:002017-05-26T22:01:54.933-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anthro Surveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07686104871694563174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082727841026025895.post-35571368213519651622017-05-26T22:01:37.562-07:002017-05-26T22:01:37.562-07:00It isn't really questioning the hypothesis abo...It isn't really questioning the hypothesis about Homo sapiens---ancestor of all modern humans---which is well grounded, both archaeologically and genetically.
Anthro Surveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07686104871694563174noreply@blogger.com
